ok so new year's eve was not all tat bad either....ailin and i went to check out this place called melvados at bukit timah area.... supposedly the brownies are nice.... anyway we ordered this salad called tandoori mango chicken salad or something.... weird sounding but it turned out pretty refreshing....different from the usual salads.....



For the main course i ordered a lasagne and ailin ordered a fish dish (can't really rmb the names...haha)...the lasagne was small but quite filling actually.... the price was actually reasonable..... i think it's even cheaper than pasta mania....the place is pretty small so its good in a way but bad in the sense that it probably can't house a lot of pple....


Finally, the desserts!!! the brownie lived up to its expectations! it was soft and moist and chocolate-y :)...(for only $4.90!) and we also ordered apple crumble which had a good mix of pastry and apples...cuz some apple crumbles either overload on the apples or the pasrty is so thick it's practically bullet proof....


after eating which was already about 9.30, we took a walk down to the next bus stop....but one bus stop turned into 2 and 3 and so on.... it was a nice walk though... chatting while buring off some calories and checking out pple's houses and cars...haha... there're like so many nice eating places around the area....so tempted to check it out some time again...anywaes, we walked till about 11 plus before we started to make our way home.... ok i didn't really count down per se....cuz i reached home at exactly 12...but it was a simple affair, which i enjoyed myself tremendously....
